Nirvana: The Definitive Biography by Everett True
Nirvana is one of the most iconic and influential bands in music history. Their music defined the grunge movement of the early 1990s, and their album Nevermind is one of the best-selling albums of all time. But behind the success and the fame, there was a dark side to Nirvana. Kurt Cobain, the band's lead singer and songwriter, struggled with depression and addiction, and his death in 1994 at the age of 27 sent shockwaves through the music world.
In Nirvana: The Biography, Everett True tells the definitive story of the band. Drawing on exclusive interviews with band members, family, and friends, True paints a vivid portrait of Cobain and his bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. He traces the band's rise to fame, from their early days playing in Seattle clubs to their international success. He also explores the dark side of Nirvana, including Cobain's drug use and his struggles with mental illness.
